Big Dairy is desperate to get an unfair market advantage by derailing the growth of Plant Dairy. They know if left to the free market, their cash cow would quickly be put out to pasture. 

 

Plant Dairy sales are skyrocketing while Animal Dairy declines. Plant Dairy milk is now commonplace, everywhere from Starbucks to Walmart. Plant Dairy cheese, butter and yogurt are quickly following suit.

 

Instead of evolving, Big Dairy is clinging to its cash cow and is now trying to manipulate the FDA and the government to do its dirty work.

Soy milk, for example, has been sold for decades.
So why is Big Dairy all of a sudden so motivated to protect consumers? 
Are they suddenly worried about public health? Nope. This is about stopping Plant Dairy from taking more marketshare. 

 

Big Dairy wants to keep its competition pushed off to the side of grocery stores, hidden, marginalized and forced to use weird product descriptions that no one understands or wants.

 

As vegans, as environmentalists, as taxpayers, as Americans, as people, we can’t let Big Dairy and its powerful lobbyists get away with this.

Market researchers predict Animal Dairy milk to continue its rapid decline over coming years with some researchers predicting sales to slump by 11% by 2020.

 

A Mintel 2017 report shows Animal Dairy sales in the US fell by an estimated 15% between 2012 and 2017.

Meanwhile, Plant Dairy milk is experiencing staggering growth, increasing by 61%.

Are you seeing the real issue here?

Why should animal-based manufacturers be given an advantage? Why should taxpayers subsidize them?
Why should the government mandate the sale of its products in our schools and institutions? Why do they
get to set the FDA labeling standards? 

 

That is not a fair and free market. It is a rigged food system.

 want to buy Animal Dairy milk or Plant Dairy milk?" Animal Dairy cheese? Plant Dairy cheese? And so on. 

 

Giving mainstream consumers a logical, fair choice
is 
Big Dairy’s worst nightmare, but it’s what the FDA
needs to do. Consumers deserve it and the future of our planet demands it.
